
Teacher | BA (Hons) Physical Education | Dance & Sport Specialist
Lauren graduated from the University of Brighton with a BA (Hons) in Physical Education and went on to complete her Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Physical Education, gaining her Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Since joining MuddyBoots in 2018, Lauren has shared her passion for physical activity, sport, and creative teaching with children, making learning fun and engaging. She currently teaches at Dame Alice Owen’s School, where she works with pupils across a wide age range.
Although Lauren loves all areas of sport, her deepest passion lies in dance. With over 10 years of training in ballet, tap, contemporary, ballroom, and Latin, she has achieved:
Performances in pantomimes
Training with the English Youth Ballet
Success in National Ballroom and Latin competitions
She also enjoys netball and running, keeping fit while inspiring her pupils to do the same.
Lauren is a proud mum of one and is expecting her second child soon. Her role as a parent adds warmth, empathy, and understanding to her teaching, as she works hard to ensure that every pupil feels valued and included.
Lauren thoroughly enjoys teaching pupils of all ages and is committed to ensuring that all children enjoy learning, stay active, and feel involved.
